At Family & Children Services, there are many volunteer opportunities to help those in need by donating your time and talents.

Our volunteers are crucial to achieving our mission to help strengthen the lives of children, individuals, and families. We welcome these volunteers to donate their time on a regular schedule, for annual projects, or a one-time commitment.

Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals, groups, and families. Fill out our volunteer form to express your interest and be matched with a need!

Volunteer opportunities include:

 
 
  • Becoming a foster parent.
  • Organizing a diaper or personal care product drive for our Year-Round Pantry.
  • Collecting books and board games for our Family Center Resource Room.
  • Assisting with clerical tasks in our offices.
  • Supporting a child or family we serve for the holidays by purchasing gifts on their wish list.
  • Volunteer during Holiday Giving to help sort gifts from donors and distribute them to clients.
  • Helping maintain our gardens and landscaping throughout the spring, summer, and fall.
  • Educating others about the work of Family & Children Services at fairs and festivals.

To protect the privacy and safety of our clients, we may require Central Registry Clearance and Confidentiality Agreements to be completed prior to working in certain volunteer capacities.
