Family & Children Services staff recently participated in a Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) community event. The goal of CAP is for communities nationwide to come together and take action to support strong families, thriving children, and healthier communities, which perfectly aligns with our own mission.

We were thrilled to see so many community partners rallying around the children of our community in our goal to prevent child abuse by proactively strengthening families.

Thank you so much to the Kalamazoo Country Club for their wildly successful book drive benefitting our clients! We know that having access to books as children leads to the promotion of social and emotional development, so the impact KCC has had on our clients with this book drive is huge!

The members of KCC are also generous supporters of our Holiday Giving Program so we are eternally grateful for the ways they show up for our clients and community!

Thank you Alpha Xi Delta women at Western Michigan University for volunteering so much time on a Saturday! They cleaned our residential house, as well as our gym, from top to bottom.

These brilliant and compassionate women have been incredible volunteers of ours, setting such a great example for their college and community. President Lucie Johnson works closely with Heather Videto, Resource Development Coordinator, to arrange various volunteer projects around the agency.

We appreciate you, ladies!

Thank you so much to St. Catherine’s Parish in Portage for their donations to the children in our care! We are thrilled that so many of the young people in our programs will have access to new backpacks and school supplies whenever theirs run out.
