
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 24 years of experience supporting individuals and families throughout the Chicagoland area. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Governors State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
I have dedicated my career to helping people navigate life’s challenges—whether they’re children, teens, adults, or couples. I have worked extensively in child welfare and community-based mental health, addressing a wide range of issues including trauma, family conflict, addiction, domestic violence, grief, homelessness, and adjustment difficulties. I also provide family therapy with a focus on improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening relationships across generations.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, direct, and grounded in real-world experience. I draw from a wide variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed and Strengths-Based practices, Person-Centered approaches, Parenting Support, and Life Coaching. My goal is to help clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and practical tools for change.
