My Professional Philosophy:
My goal as a therapist is to create an environment that allows you to feel safe, heard, and confident to take steps towards change and growth. I will listen to your story, thoughts, feelings and beliefs. My approach to therapy is collaborative while also recognizing that you are the expert of your story. Together we can work towards setting goals for yourself, your family, or your relationship(s). We will work to process any negative thoughts, feelings or obstacles that could be standing in your way and work to build upon your own personal strengths and confidence to accomplish your goals.
I specialize in both family and couples therapy, working with children and adults. I am passionate about the work I do with families and individuals who struggle with family or marital issues, parenting, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, self harm, poor self-esteem, among other mental health issues.
